About Me…

Jasmine Louis (she/her/sis) is a black, female storyteller aiming to create new narratives centered around black bodies. She bases her performance and writing on her experiences, opting to bring pieces of herself to every story, no matter how unlikely. She aims to tell new stories with black people as protagonists. By allowing minorities to be at the forefront of these stories, Jasmine hopes to normalize “melanated” heroes.

Originally born in Brooklyn, New York, Jasmine is currently based in New York, with management in Los Angeles- Frontline Management. Jasmine hopes to use her talents to inspire and empower a generation of minority children to create what they want to see.
